Founded in 1982, our restaurant has been a must in Pontevedra to enjoy authentic Mexican food with that homemade touch that you like so much.

This year we received the Copil Seal, a recognition of our commitment to authentic Mexican culinary tradition. For us, it is an honour that confirms that in every dish you will find genuine flavours, fresh ingredients and the spirit of Mexico on your table.

We are one of many Galician families who were born abroad as a result of those times when people emigrated in search of a better future.

Filled with homesickness, we returned to our Galicia as a family returning to our homeland, leaving part of our hearts in Mexico.

Our menu is suitable for celiacs, as it is gluten free, and we are ACEGA certified.

Vegans and vegetarians are very welcome! Here you have the whole menu adapted so that you can enjoy the same dishes as your table companions.

We also have ramp access for wheelchairs, pushchairs, scooters and various motorised vehicles.

What is our secret?

We cook, grind and prepare 100% of our food daily with nothing but nixtamalised corn.

We cook the corn in an alkaline solution.
It is left to rest for 8 to 18 hours and we grind it in our mill.
That dough will be turned throughout the day into tostadas, totopos, sopes and tortillas.
